Philosophy

The administration and faculty of the College Street Vocational Center and Westlake T&I see the major role of the institutions as providing specific skill training for area high school students who wish to enter the job market upon graduation. We also embrace the concept that staff needs to continually grow through professional development.  

 

The programs model the working conditions that will be encountered in the trade the student is learning. This requires that the student learn the skills involved but also the attitude and outlook necessary for successful employment.
